Come and find us in the Atrium between 10am and 4pm. In conjunction with Warwick Allotment Society, we will be giving away herbs to grow on your windowsill. Don't worry if you've never done this before; we'll tell you everything you need to know and provide you with the kit to do it... all free! Engineers without Borders (EWB) have been designing and building a bike-powered smoothie maker throughout terms 1 and 2. Come and see how they've done... free smoothies for all! In conjunction with DoNation, we will be encouraging students to make online energy-saving pledges in an attempt to top the nationwide University leader board! Warwick Animal Ethics Society will have a stall- come along to find out more about their ongoing 'Meat-free Mondays' campaign and much more. There will be information being given about the future events taking place during the week, as well as the environmental campaigning societies here on campus telling you a little more about what we do. |
The University, the union and the environment- ro.12 - 3-4pm
Joel Cardinal, the University's Energy Manager and Anna Chowcat, the SU's very own Postgrad Officer will be talking about the steps the Uni and the SU are taking to become more environmentally friendly including the SU's involvement in the NUS Impact Awards, "greening the curriculum" and the University's Carbon plan. The Energy Trail- r0.12 - 4pmJoel Cardinal, Energy Manager at the University will be leading a guided walk on 'The Energy Trail' around campus.
